The Cascades of Imouzzer des Ida Outanane

Situated in the foothills of the Atlas mountains, Imouzzèr des Ida Outanane is an area of outstanding natural beauty, of high peaks, gorges, sheer cliffs, incredible vistas; of flora and fauna and a remarkable oasis of thousands of date palm. As well as ‘The Bridal Veil’ an erstwhile waterfall, although water is now in short supply!! Back to Agadir at the end of the morning. This can also be done as a day excursion including lunch and a donkey ride to the citadel, an old French Foreign Legion fort with magnificent vistas.

Taroudant & Tiout Oasis

Select days from Agadir, all year round; Taroudant lies some 90 minutes to the east of Agadir and has played an important role in Morocco’s varied history, being in the 16th century, the capital of the Sâadien Dynasty. The town is on the Souss Plain, overlooked by the Tichka Range of virgin mountains, and was once the starting point for the Gold caravans, therefore, has no ‘European’ feel to it – no wide boulevards or modern buildings. A small, bustling souq to wander through before a brief stop at the old Sultan’s Palace, now an hotel, where we shall stop to relax and enjoy a quiet drink in lush gardens prior to setting off back to Agadir. The ½ day visit of Taroudant can be extended to a full day taking in the verdant palmeraie and ruined Glaoui kasbah at Tiout. Here take a donkey ride around the tranquil oasis before taking a traditional lunch in the restaurant. Once refreshed, set off back in the late afternoon on the return to Agadir.

Les Folies Berberes

Select evenings from Agadir, all year round; a night filled with fun and laughter in the Kasbah of a Berber hamlet. This is an excursion for all the family regardless of age and will give you an opportunity to join in with the musicians and sample some Berber cuisine before returning to Agadir late evening.
