Tafraout

Nestling in the Anti-Atlas, Tafraout lies in a fertile valley planted with date palms and olives but above all with Almond trees. The Ammeln tribes who live in Tafraout possess similar business acumen to Jews so are found running shops all over Morocco and overseas leaving the women and children to take care of the almond trees! You can cross Tafraout in five minutes but take a guide if you wish to see the rock drawings.
