African Coast by Boat
Daily from Agadir, all year round; a day to remember out on the deep, blue ocean waves. Sail along the North African coast with its varying landscape, rock formations, villages and isolated beaches trying a little fishing along the way. Drop anchor at lunchtime for an opportunity to take a dip or laze around. Lunch is served on board, with drinks to wash it all down prior to setting sail back to the Marina of Agadir and transfer back to your hotel.
Magical Marrakech
Select days from Agadir, all year round; whatever you do, you surely cannot visit Morocco without taking in the Imperial City of Marrakech, the city that gave Morocco its name. Our special journey takes you into and across the High Atlas range of mountains, through some remarkable ever-changing scenery. The morning takes in the historical monuments and sites; then we take lunch (included) before touring the the medina and its labyrinth of covered alleyways making up the famed Souqs. Our visit comes to an end in the famous and exotic Djemâa el Fnâ Square with its myriad of street performers. This Square is the true heart of Marrakech, so try to wander at will, or just to sit in one of the surrounding rooftop cafés, as you soak up the lively atmosphere, before we set off back to Agadir, arriving late in the evening.

Tafraout
Select days from Agadir, all year round; a scenic trip south of great beauty; a day out for all camera enthusiasts and lovers of mountains. Leaving Agadir early climb some 3500 feet into the astonishing grandeur of the Anti Atlas mountains – we see villages clinging precariously to the mountain slopes, as well as abandoned kasbahs and palmeraies. Optional lunch in Tafraout, with time to explore the town of pink granite rock, which gives the impression of growing straight from the slopes. A lunar landscape, hemmed in on all sides by red, boulder-strewn mountains, plantations of almond trees and date palm palmeraies, the scenery is quite awesome. Our return journey takes us through the Tizi Kerdous and on to Tiznit, a pink walled town with its old French Foreign Legion fortress and renowned filigree silver work, returning to Agadir by the early evening.
Enchanting Essaouira
Select days from Agadir, all year round; a journey north to the ancient Phoenician fortified town of Essaouira – once named Mogador. Our drive takes us past the old lighthouse and the cliffs at Tamri where one of the rarest birds in the world – the Bald Ibis – has its very protected nesting grounds. Essaouira, with its old port and cannons overlooking the fishing fleet, is now a charming artists’ town which invites you to witness artisans at work making their wooden tables, boxes and sundry items in lemon or briar wood inlaid with mother of pearl. Offshore are the Purple islands, so named for the purple dye once exported by the conquering Romans to colour the togas of the rich back home. Perhaps a dip in the waters of the ocean? A camel ride along the beach? Lunch is not included, but you’ll enjoy Essaouira’s famed seafood, before returning back to Agadir early evening.
Massa & Tifnite
Select days from Agadir, all year round; discover the natural beauty of Morocco as you drive along the picturesque Atlantic coast. Massa is a spectacular nature reserve, if you are a bird watching enthusiast, then the Souss Massa National Park is paradise for you. Observe a variety of bird species, like the pink flamingos and the bald ibises in this natural paradise. You can also visit Troglodyte homes.
Day In The Life Of A Berber
Select days from Marrakech or Agadir, all year round; experience local hospitality, and take the opportunity to learn “hands-on” about the Amazigh Berber Culture.
The day is designed to give you a genuine experience of what life is actually like for the local people in the Seksaoua Valley. This is no quick excursion into a village for a fake cup of tea, but an invitation to the heart of village life. From your arrival at around 09.30am you will be involved in the daily activities that concern the local population; from drawing water at the well on a donkey to cooking food for lunch, helping with a harvest, milking goats, weaving a rug, or participating in a tea making contest. Your visit will give you a taste of the incredible hospitality which these people are famous for, and it will give you an insight into a way of life that has disappeared in many parts of the world- where the family and community are still important.
Not only will your experience will be inspirational and personally rewarding, but you will contribute to the direct support of the local economy, education, people and land.
Berber Trails of the Atlas Mountains
Select days from Marrakech, all year round; 4×4 Discovery to see the original inhabitants of Morocco, the Berbers. Traverse the trough of the valleys up to summit of the mountains, and discover smiling faces, quaint villages and an ancestral lifestyle which people thought had disappeared long ago. Your 4×4 lets you get where the large tour buses can’t go. Nature rules supreme in these regions and dictates the existence of these tribal men and women. Depending on the season, you will discover lush slopes full of sheep or snow-covered summits. Take in the peaceful scenery all around as you enjoy lunch in the Kasbah of Ourika in the famous Ourika valley.
